A total application consists of:

1. All completed forms
2. Your deposit of $250

First Steps:

When applying for our Week Long Intensive Counseling, both husband and wife need to be involved in a phone conversation with the Executive Director to discuss what you see as your need for counseling.  At that time the Director will email some forms for you to fill out.  Once you return the forms to us via overnight mail, the team of counselors will review them and determine if this is an issue with which we can help.

What Happens During the Week:

Our intensive counseling program takes one week.  You will arrive on Sunday afternoon and begin your sessions on Monday morning about 9 a.m. Counseling will occur daily through Friday with approximately 20-25 hours of one-on-one counseling with one of our trained counselors or team of counselors.  Each day will consist of meeting with the counselor(s), prayer time and reflection, and homework assignments.  A typical day runs from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. with some of that time devoted to assigned homework.  Friday will end mid afternoon.

You will have specific free times allotted during your week of counseling for rest and relaxation. A hot breakfast, lunch with the counselor(s) and a light evening dinner are included in the total cost of your week.

What to Bring:

The only things you need to bring are your Bible, a notebook and a pen or pencil.

What NOT to Bring:

Since this week is devoted totally to helping you resolve the issues that brought you to us, we ask you not to bring any items which would take your mind or attention away from the focus of allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your heart.  Items to leave at home would include but are not limited to: electronic devices such as cell phones, laptops, MP3 players, etc. If you need any of these devices in your commute to us, one of our counselors will be glad to keep them for you while you are with us.  It also goes without saying that you should not bring children or pets.

Cost:

The cost for the week-long intensive counseling is $2,500 which includes a non-refundable registration fee of $250.  This fee covers the cost of approximately 20-25 hours of counseling, accommodations at a beautiful hotel in the Greenville, SC area and the majority of your meals, a copy of each of Dr. Binney's books and various other publications. The $250 deposit should accompany the forms that you mail back to us before we confirm the date for your counseling.

Once the forms arrive, it takes approximately one week for the committee of counselors to review them and determine when and how to proceed.  We will be in touch to let you know when they arrive safely.

Travel Information:

After receiving all your paperwork, we will send a follow-up letter that will include directions to the hotel as well as contact information.  If you intend to fly to Greenville, the closest airport is Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our secretary at 864-268-3195. We will do our very best to answer any questions you may have.
